Tuesday, 19 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Qatari government announced that the country is making great efforts to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire between the resistance groups in the Gaza Strip and the Zionist regime.
The head of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, Mohammed al-Emadi, met Monday night (last night) with a Hamas delegation led by Yahya al-Sanwar in Gaza.
The committee said in a statement that the meeting examined the current political situation and developments in Palestine.
Al-Emadi stressed that Qatar is working with all parties to ensure the continuation and stabilization of the ceasefire in Gaza and to prevent the escalation of tensions.
Noting that Qatar is interested in continuing to support the Palestinians in all areas and cooperating with all parties, he expressed hope for stability in the Palestinian territories.
