The Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan said in a meeting with the acting foreign minister of the Taliban interim government that his country would resume exports to Afghanistan in the near future.
Taliban Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi tweeted that the meeting took place on Sunday evening, October 17, between the acting minister, Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi, and the Chinese ambassador to Kabul, Wang Yu.
The two sides also discussed the time and place of the Taliban foreign minister's meeting with his Chinese counterpart.
It was also discussed at the meeting that China will also start importing jalghuz from Afghanistan.
China is one of the countries trying to establish trade relations with the Taliban after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.
