Khaled al-Battash, one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad movement, called on all Palestinians on Monday to put pressure on the occupying regime to stop its repressive actions against the prisoners.
Al-Batash said at the 10th anniversary of the exchange of prisoners with the Zionist regime that the Palestinian resistance will never leave prisoners in Israeli prisons alone. We take captives until all the prisoners are released.
According to the Palestine Today website, al-Batash stated that the occupying regime is trying to take revenge on all prisoners in all detention centers.
He added that other prisoners from Palestinian groups would go on hunger strike.
The leader of the Islamic Jihad called on all Palestinians to put pressure on the occupying regime and said:
All the streets of the West Bank should be closed to the settlers so that they know that there are thousands of prisoners in prisons.
He said:
We will never leave our captives alone and we will never accept the continuation of repressive actions against the captives.
