Monday, 18 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Iraqi Minister of Justice and the delegation arrived in Tehran with the aim of exploring ways to expand and deepen bilateral legal and judicial relations between Iran and Iraq.
Iraqi Minister of Justice Abdul Sattar Mohammad and his delegation arrived in Tehran this morning and were welcomed at Imam Khomeini Airport by Mahmoud Abbasi, Deputy Minister of Human Rights and International Affairs, Fallah, Director General of the Office of International Cooperation, and Jalalian, Director General of the National Authority for the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
This four-day trip, which takes place in response to the visit of the former head of the Judiciary and the then Minister of Justice last year, is aimed at meeting with the Minister of Justice, senior officials of the Judiciary and exploring ways to expand and deepen bilateral legal and judicial relations. The synergy of the two countries in pursuing the case of Martyr Soleimani and Martyr Abu Mohandes is another goal of this trip.
Welcoming the Iraqi Minister of Justice, the Deputy Minister of Justice for Human Rights and International Affairs expressed hope that the visit would expand and deepen relations between the two countries and that the convicts would be exchanged between the two countries.
