Wednesday, 13 October 2021 (YJC)_The Iranian Health Ministry announced that 12,298 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday that 12,298 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,699of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 12,298 COVID-19 infections and 213 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 5, 742,083.
194 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 123,275,” the ministry added.
“5,026 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 5,264,775 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
The ministry also added “As many as 68,357,307 Covid-19 vaccines and 33,563,390 Covid 19 PCR tests have been administered in the country.”
According to the latest figures, more than 239,701,038 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 4,885,288 and recoveries amounting to 4,885,288.
