Wednesday, 13 October 2021 (YJC)_ Deputy Coordinator of IRGC said that IRGC Aerospace Force is providing full airspace security to Iran.
During his remarks in the sidelines of 'Modafean-e Aseman-e Velayat 1400' (The Defenders of Velayat Skies 1400) Deputy Coordinator of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Brigadier General Fereydoun Mohammadi Saghaei said that IRGC Aerospace Force is providing full airspace security to Iran.
“In order to fulfill their mission in line with defending country's airspaces against external threats, Iranian Army and IRGC have established very good cooperation,” Brigadier General Saghaei said.
“Radar systems, missiles, electronic warfare, command and control centers and electro-optics, are among equipment that are used in this military exercise. All these equipment is manufactured and produced by expert Iranian experts,” he added.
“Our forces are ensuring that the security of country’s airspace in the best possible way to defend any possible threat,” IRGC commander continued.
Earlier on Tuesday morning and in the central desert areas of Iran a large-scale aerial drill has started by Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) with the aim of enhancing preparedness for defending the country’s skies.
This is the operational phase of the joint large-scale drill, which codenamed Modafe’an-e Aseman-e Velayat 1400 (Defenders of Velayat Skies 1400), that has started today.
