Wednesday, 13 October 2021 (YJC)_ The IRGC Air Force's "Quds" indigenous radar became operational for the first time in a joint specialized exercise of the 1400 Velayat Sky Defenders.
According to the rehearsal media base, the indigenous long-range radar of the Quds pulse array of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force was put into operation in a joint specialized exercise of the 1400 province sky defenders.
This radar is capable of observing targets at a range of more than 500 km and an altitude of more than 90,000 feet.
Tactical and single-vehicle capability, indigenous software, ability to deal with electronic warfare in various techniques, enemy-friend detection system and the ability to link with defense systems are among the features of Quds radar system.
