Wednesday, 13 October 2021 (YJC)_ The former US Secretary of State said in an interview that we should put pressure on Iran, not negotiate with them.

Pompeo: We should put pressure on Iran, not negotiateFormer Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who took a daily anti-Iran stance during his tenure, will continue to take anti-Iran stances after his term ends.

"I traveled to the Occupied Territories to attend the anniversary of the Abraham Accords," he told Israel's ILTV:
We have isolated Iran in an unprecedented way, and the United States and Israel have worked together to prevent Iran from moving toward a nuclear weapons program, and Iran will have a nuclear weapon that is very dangerous to the world.

Pompeo continued the interview:
We prevented Iran from accessing their financial resources and imposed real sanctions on them, and these sanctions affected them.

The former US Secretary of State added:
Let me be clear that the current US administration is changing course (dealing with Iran) and is negotiating with them in Vienna. Iran is a threat not only to Israel but also to the United States. Peace lovers around the world should put real pressure on Iran, not negotiate with it.
