Tuesday, 12 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Director General of South Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries, plus Russia, will be held in Tehran soon.
Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, Assistant Minister and Director General of South Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, tweeted that a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries will be held in Tehran in the near future.

There is considerable diplomatic mobility to understand developments in Afghanistan and influence its future. Different countries pursue their diplomacy in different mechanisms.
Mousavi noted that Afghanistan's future lies in regional cooperation with its neighbors:
