Monday, 11 October 2021 (YJC)_ The symbolic ceremony of the beginning of the academic year of universities and institutions of higher education began with the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi at the University of Tehran.
The opening ceremony of the academic year of universities and institutes of higher education and medical education was attended by the President, a number of officials from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, some university presidents, the head of the Supreme Leader in universities, Professors and students of Tehran University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, started a few minutes ago in Allameh Amini Hall of the Central Library and Documentation Center of the University of Tehran.
The speakers of the ceremony are the Ministers of Science, Research and Technology and Health, Treatment and Medical Education, and the Head of Tehran University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
A professor will also speak on behalf of the university professors and a student on behalf of the country's students in the presence of the President, after which the President will deliver a speech at the end of the ceremony.
At the beginning of the academic year of universities and centers of higher education and medical education, about 26 top candidates in the Ministries of Science and Health will be honored in the presence of the President.
