Monday, 11 October 2021 (YJC)_ The delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan headed by "Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani" arrived in "Islamabad" on Monday morning local time.
The Iranian Parliamentary Friendship Group has traveled to Islamabad at the invitation of the head of the Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, and Sardar Nasrullah Khan Darshak, Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, welcomed the Chairman and members of our Parliamentary Friendship Group at Islamabad International Airport.
During the visit, the Iranian delegation will meet with the Speakers of the Pakistani National Assembly and Senate, members of friendship groups in the Pakistani parliament, as well as some government officials to discuss expanding parliamentary interaction between the two countries and strengthening friendly cooperation in various fields.
The delegation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is also scheduled to visit the southern Pakistani city of Karachi to meet with state and parliamentary government officials.
