Sunday, 10 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Director-General of Eurasia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Iran and Russia are drafting a comprehensive strategic document on long-term cooperation.
According to the Director-General of Eurasia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alireza Haghighian, Iran and Russia are drafting a comprehensive strategic document on long-term cooperation.
“The preparation of a comprehensive document on long-term cooperation between Iran and Russia is underway,” he announced while referring to the recent meeting of the Iranian Foreign Minister with his Russian counterpart in Moscow.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Alireza Haghighian called Russia, a powerful country in the world which plays an important role in the foreign policy of Iran.
Previously, in his trip to Moscow, in a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian announced that Iran and Russia were planning to draft a strategic cooperation document soon.
