Sunday, 10 October 2021 (YJC)_ Appreciating the hospitality of the Lebanese people and government, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that supporting this resilient and brotherly country is a moral duty that Iran will spare no effort in this regard.
On Sunday morning, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, thanked the Lebanese government and people for hosting him and his accompanying delegation.
Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his Twitter page:
I thank the Lebanese people and government for the warm welcome and generous hospitality we always welcome.
Reiterating Iran's support for Lebanon, he explained:
Supporting this country of resistance and brotherhood is a moral duty in which we will never spare any effort. You lived with dignity and were free. Thank you.
Earlier, in an interview with Al-Manar news network, the head of Iran's diplomatic service said that Iran was ready to provide any assistance to Lebanon, despite the difficult economic conditions it faces.
