Sunday, 10 October 2021 (YJC)_ A group of representatives of the National Security Commission traveled to the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan and visited the northwestern borders of the country.
In an interview with Tasnim, Shahriyar Heydari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament and chairman of the border committee of the commission, said:
Our priority of this trip is to visit the border areas of the two provinces of West and East Azerbaijan.

In general, these areas have good security and all military, intelligence and security forces, including the IRGC, army and police, with sympathy and cooperation with each other, have an acceptable aristocracy over the security of the region and are ready to face any security threat. The member of the National Security Commission said:
In addition to visiting the border areas in the northwest of the country, we will have 4 meetings with officials of the Security Council of both provinces to learn about the latest security and political situation in the region.
