Tehran, YJC. Recently reports came out that Iran and Russia intend to boost their trade especially in food export from Iran, but the two country’s trade has diminished in the past 6 months.
As Russia’s relations with the EU and US darkened over the
past few months for Ukrainian developments, the country intended to boost its
trade relations with Iran.
While the two countries’ officials announced a number of
times that were signing agreements to boost mutual trade, the tradesmen in the
related sections say they have not felt any serious change in the market.
Statistics show that in the first 6 months of this Iranian
year, Iran exported $136,122,249 goods and service to Russia which comprise
only 0.82 percent of the country’s whole export.
The number nevertheless shows as much as 13.81 percent
decrease in relation to the same period the previous year.
Iran’s export comprised 215 goods on invoice and the largest
one according to their price in Dollars has been white cement making up to
$21,463,059.
