Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, at the beginning of his trip to Syria, said about his plans during this trip:
Today's visit to Damascus is aimed at further consultations and bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
He added:
In Lebanon, we also had good meetings with the Secretary General of Hezbollah, senior officials, party leaders, think tanks and political experts.
The Iranian foreign minister stated:
Our consultations in Lebanon were about Iran's readiness to support and export technical and engineering services to Lebanon to overcome the crisis it is facing, and regional and international issues.
