Friday, 8 October 2021 (YJC)_ As his sixth provincial trip, Iranian President arrived in the southern province of Bushehr.
On Friday as his sixth provincial trip, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in the southern province of Bushehr and was welcomed by different provincial officials at Bushehr airport.
“We will continue as it was in the past, to and take more steps to activate maritime economy, agricultural and fishery development projects to make use of the capacities of the province,” Raisi said.
He went on to refer to the very high capacities of Bushehr province in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, date palms and oil, gas and petrochemical sectors, and added “it is necessary to activate the economy of sea, agriculture, fisheries and date palms in this province.”
He also highlighted the fact that much of the steps has been taken thus far, and stressed the need for more works to be conducted to eliminate deprivations in the region and boost oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as infrastructure projects in electricity, water, roads and railways.
President Raisi also announced that his administration will hold public sessions with people of the southern province, following the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, to listen to their demands and suggestions.
On this trip, Iranian President was accompanied by the ministers of oil, interior, economy, energy, agriculture and the head of the Atomic Energy Organisation.
