Thursday, 7 October 2021 (YJC)_ Deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps called the US withdrawal from Afghanistan was in complete disgrace.
During his remarks on Thursday, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Brigadier General Ali Fadavi said that the United States escaped Afghanistan in complete disgrace.
“The US was defeated in Afghanistan and fled the country in the worst possible way,” he said while noting that “As you see, the recent developments in Afghanistan and withdrawal of US troops from this country show how US id defeated in international arenas.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he highlighted the fact that “The false and vicious front are doomed to be failed,” and added “The resistant Afghans and also Muslim nations in Afghanistan defeated US.”
Finally, General Fadavi noted that “US failed and fled Afghanistan in complete disgrace.”
In relevant remarks at the 72nd session of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme (4 – 8 October 2021), Iran's ambassador and Permanent Representative at the UN Office in Geneva Esmaeil Baghaei Hamaneh said that US sanctions are hindering the aid to reach to Afghanistan.
