Thursday, 7 October 2021 (YJC)_ In his trip to Moscow, Iranian Foreign Minister said that foreign interference should not damage the geopolitics of the Caucasus region.
At end of his one-day visit to Russia, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that foreign interference should not damage the geopolitics of the Caucasus region.
“Iran's good neighbors, Azerbaijan and Armenia are under great difficulties because of the Zionist regime of Israel and other foreigners, and terrorists in the South Caucasus region,” he said.
He went on to urge the officials in some neighboring countries not to use language that serves the interests of enemies of the region.
He also said “Iran, with its leadership and wise behavior put emphasis on the fact that all countries in the region should move in the direction of dialogue to solve problems and resolve misunderstandings,” while noting that everyone should benefit from this safe and stable region.
Finally, he noted that “The geopolitics and geography of the Caucasus region should not be harmed by foreign interference.”
