Monday, 4 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Armenian Foreign Minister arrived in Tehran to meet with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport this morning (Monday) to meet with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and was welcomed by Alireza Haghighian, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director General of Eurasia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The foreign ministers are scheduled to meet this afternoon and attend a joint press conference.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry announced on its Twitter page today that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a working visit to Iran today (Monday).

On October 4, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the meeting, a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is scheduled, after which the foreign ministers will issue a joint statement.
The two foreign ministers also met in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
During a meeting with his Iranian counterpart in New York, the Armenian Foreign Minister called for cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of oil and energy and stressed the need for a joint commission of the two countries as soon as possible.
