Saturday,2 October 2021 (YJC)_ The Minister of Defense of Armenia met with the Ambassador of Iran in Yerevan and the military attaché of the Islamic Republic in this country.
On Friday, Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan hosted Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri, Ambassador and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia at the Ministry of Defense. Colonel Bahman Sadeghin, military attaché of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Armenian Defense Minister explained the situation in the region and stressed Iran's role in ensuring regional security.
The two sides also discussed the deepening of cooperation between Iran and Armenia and other issues related to regional issues.
