Friday,1 October 2021 (YJC)_ The head of the Slovak Parliament's Defense and Security Committee thanked the Iranian ambassador for hosting Afghan refugees during a meeting with the Iranian ambassador.
"Abbas Bagherpour Ardakani," the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Slovakia, wrote in a tweet, referring to his meeting with "Jura Korupa", the head of the Defense and Security Committee of the Slovak Parliament: In this meeting, good and growing bilateral relations in various fields were emphasized.
He added:
Issues related to counter-terrorism and extremism, regional and international peace and security, as well as the current situation in Afghanistan and related issues, including the issue of refugees, were also reviewed.
The Iranian ambassador noted:
In this regard, the good hospitality of Iran to Afghan immigrants over the past years has been appreciated by the Slovak side.
