Friday,1 October 2021 (YJC)_ After the Israeli Foreign Minister's visit to Bahrain yesterday, Hebrew-language sources reported that the two sides had discussed confronting Iranian drones.
The Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported today (Friday) that Tel Aviv and Manama are seeking co-operation to counter Iranian drones.
The Arab 48 news website quoted Haaretz as saying that Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid had talked to the Bahraini authorities about the confrontation with the Iranian drones during his visit to Bahrain yesterday.
An informed political source told Haaretz:
Iran is developing its combat capabilities without guidance; Like stray birds; But this is not all! This is a concern for everyone here. It is clear to everyone what capabilities we are putting on the table.
