Tuesday, 28 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian ambassador to Brazil met with the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights and presented her with a copy of Cyrus' Charter.
During a meeting with the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, Damarres Alves, the Iranian Ambassador to Brazil presented him with a copy of the Cyrus Charter, the first recognized human rights declaration in the world, with a Portuguese translation.
In this meeting, Hossein Gharibi, while pointing to the increasing progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran in creating legal and social contexts to ensure the observance of human rights, referring to the status of women and families in Iran, presented some statistics of achievements in this field.
He also described the current situation in Afghanistan, the services provided to immigrants, especially the right to education for Afghan children and girls of Iranian descent.
