Monday, 27 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that Iran protests against recent false report of IAEA Director-General.
In response to the publication of a false report by IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi, the Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi announced that Iran protests against recent false report of IAEA Director-General.
“A letter was sent to the Agency protesting this unconstructive action,” he said while urging IAEA not to disrupt the constructive process of talks with biased reports.
Kamalvandi went on to point out the fact that IAEA Director-General and all the other personnel know that the agreement reached in the form of a joint statement would not cover the surveillance equipment of the Karaj Complex and said “that is because it is still under security investigation as a result of the act of sabotage carried out there in July.”
He went on to say that “It's deeply regrettable that after 3 terrorist attacks in Iran's nuclear facilities during past 1 year, the Agency has not yet condemned them.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he referred to the discussions in Tehran & Vienna, said “Since Tessa Karaj Complex is still under security and judicial investigations, equipment related to this Complex are not included for servicing,” and pointed out the reason for writing “identified equipment” in the “JS” is this.
He finally noted that “Given all these information, DG's report on Sep 26 isn't accurate and goes beyond the agreed terms of the JS.”
Grossi said in a report that IAEA inspectors serviced IAEA monitoring equipment in Iran in the last days of September.
