Saturday, 25 September 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian President announced that the vaccination of about 70% of the country's population will be completed within the 4 days.
During his remarks on Saturday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi announced that the vaccination of about 70% of the country's population will be completed within the next 3 or 4 days.
Since the administration of President Ebrahim Raeisi in early August, the vaccination has been considerably accelerated.
On 3 August 2021, the date that Raeisi assumed the office, only 5 million Iranians had received the Covid-19 vaccine, but last Friday, it is announced that more than 49 million vaccines were administered in Iran, accounting for more than 50% of the Iranian population that have received at least the first dose of the vaccine.
However, today the Iranian president pledged that 70% of the country's population will be completed within the next 3 or 4 days. The country is using a mixture of Iranian-manufactured vaccines and imported vaccines in its vaccination campaign against the Covid-19.
Also, last week Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi announced that the vaccination of the country's school students has started.
Previously, a report showed that “Since the beginning of vaccination in Iran, the country records the highest weekly injection of COVID-19 vaccine after France and Germany.”
Also, earlier this month The Vice President for Research and Technology Affairs at the parent Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute and spokesman for the project Mohammad Hossein Fallah Mehrabadi announced that Iran has started the third phase of the human trial of its second domestic coronavirus vaccine, Razi Cov Pars.
