The information office of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement announced today (Friday) in a statement that the second ship carrying Iranian fuel docked in the Syrian port of Banias on Thursday evening.
According to the Al-Manar network, the ship was loaded with fuel oil and docked at the port of Banias at 10 pm on Thursday (local time).
Meanwhile, Al-Mayadin reported on Wednesday evening, quoting its correspondent, that the fifth convoy carrying Iranian fuel oil had entered Lebanese territory.
The fuel-carrying convoys entered Lebanese territory after Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, in a speech on the occasion of Ashura, announced the departure of fuel-carrying ships from Iran to Lebanon.
Following that, Lebanese sources reported on Thursday (September 16th) that the first convoy of Iranian fuel oil tankers had entered Lebanon via the Hermel-Al-Qusair land border.
