Thursday, 22 September 2021 (YJC)_ Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, issued a message on the occasion of Holy Defense Week and the day of commemoration of martyrs.
The message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the occasion of the Day of Commemoration of the Martyrs and of the Holy Defense, which was read this afternoon (Thursday) by Hojjatoleslam Shokri, representative of the Supreme Leader in the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, in the Garden of the Martyrs of Behesht Zahra in Tehran, is as follows:

Holy Defense Week is decorated with the names and memories of the great martyrs. Their sincere sacrifice and that of other martyrs gave victory to the Iranian nation, and their pure blood recorded the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic on the face of history.
This is the great lesson of those models of self-sacrifice; Wherever there is sincere effort, there is victory and pride.
And the Iranian nation will never forget this honorable monument, God willing.
Peace be upon the all the martyrs and their leader, Imam Ruhollah.
