Tuesday, 21 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Russian representative in the Vienna talks welcomed the provisions of the consultations between the IAEA Director General and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in Vienna, and expressed hope that Tehran-IAEA relations would return to the level before the US maximum pressure.
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative to international organizations based in Vienna, welcomed the meeting between Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
Ulyanov wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday morning:
We sincerely hope that the IAEA and Iran will revive and develop fruitful relations to the level before they are negatively impacted by the US policy of maximum pressure.
Republishing Grossi's tweet about meeting with Eslami, he explained:
All significant issues can and should be resolved through cooperation based on standard processes.
