Tuesday, 21 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Director General of the Atomic Agency stated that during the meeting with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in Vienna, he strengthened the joint statement during his recent visit to Tehran, and said that now there are things that should be done together.
Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), welcomed his meeting with Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, on Tuesday morning.
Grossi wrote on his Twitter page:
I am pleased to welcome Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Chairman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran to the IAEA Annual Meeting.
He stated that in the meeting with Islami, they strengthened the joint statement that had been agreed upon during his recent visit to Tehran; Added:
Now there are things we need to do together.
Earlier, Iran's representative to the IAEA announced the Islamic meeting with Grossi in Vienna, saying that the two sides agreed to establish relations based on respect and good faith.
