Sunday, 19 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Babil Police Command announced the implementation of a special security plan to ensure the security of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims and the participation of more than 18,000 security forces in this plan.
Brigadier General Adel al-Husseini, head of public relations and information at the Babil Police Command, said the command had prepared a special security plan to support Arbaeen Husseini pilgrims planning to travel to the city of Karbala.
According to the Iraqi News Agency (WAA), al-Husseini added that more than 18,000 security forces from all active security agencies in Babil province are involved in the implementation of this security plan, and that al-Hashd al-Shabi is also involved in supporting the northern region of Babil.
He stressed that the implementation of this plan after the end of the preventive operation has relied on intelligence aspects.
