Narendra Modi emphasized New Delhi's commitment to improving relations with the Central Asian region in a video conference at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in the Tajik capital.
"We believe that landlocked countries in Central Asia can benefit by connecting with Indian markets," he said.
The Indian Prime Minister added, "Our investment in the port of Chabahar in Iran and our efforts in the field of the North-South International Corridor is a proof of our will and desire in this field."
