Wednesday, 15 September 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Minister said that the foreign ministry is seriously pursuing General Soleimani's assassination case.
Addressing the special committee for legal and international investigation into the assassination of General Soleimani and his entourage, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the foreign ministry is doing its outmost to pursue General Soleimani's assassination case legally, politically and internationally.
He went on to put emphasis on the need to follow up the ongoing measures and to commemorate General Soleimani as a national and international hero of fighting terrorism and said the role of US administration and officials should be pursued.
Managers and representatives of relevant governmental and military bodies and also General Soleimani's daughter, Zeinab Soleimani, attended this meeting, presented their reports and discussed the latest developments.
Lieutenant General Soleimani and Deputy Commander of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated in a US drone strike on Baghdad International Airport in Iraq on January 3, 2020.
