Wednesday, 15 September 2021 (YJC)_ Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran highlighted the fact that the country needs to further its development in nuclear science and technology.
In a meeting with Leader’s representative in the Southern city of Bushehr, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami highlighted the fact that, despite the oppositions from the enemy’s side, the country needs to further its development in nuclear science and technology.
“We have achieved some considerable success and this happens despite the widespread efforts of the enemies to prevent scientific development in the country,” Eslami said.
He went on to refer to the enemies' opposition to the development of nuclear science in Iran and said “We will take special measures and all capacities will be used for this purpose.”
“Standardization and improvement of the quality of agricultural products” was another advantage that Eslami noted during his remarks and called “The development of radiopharmaceuticals and related laboratories and nuclear agriculture centers,” as other priorities of the government in this regard.
“Iran’s position in nuclear science should be changed and improved” he added.
Previously on Sunday, at the end of a meeting between Vice-President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami and IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi, AEOI and IAEA released a joint statement to put emphasis on the need for continued and extended cooperation.
Also, in a meeting with new Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid called for more efforts to develop advanced weapons in order to surprise enemies.
