Wednesday, 15 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan announced the transfer of six Iranians imprisoned in Armenia today (Wednesday).
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan announced today (Wednesday) the transfer of six more compatriots imprisoned in Armenia to Iran.
According to the embassy, 6 Iranian prisoners detained in Armenian prisons with the efforts and follow-ups of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan and holding numerous meetings and consultations with the officials of the Republic of Armenia and with the consent and support of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic Iran was transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran through the Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan today, Wednesday, within the framework of an agreement on the transfer of prisoners.

According to the agreements reached between the Iranian embassy in Armenia and the Armenian authorities, other Iranian prisoners whose sentences have been issued and enforced and whose administrative courts have agreed to transfer them will be transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the next steps.
