Hours after South Korea's Yonhap news agency announced an unidentified firing into the Sea of Japan by Pyongyang, the South Korean military announced today (Wednesday) that North Korea had fired two ballistic missiles from its east coast.
The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement today (Wednesday) that two ballistic missiles flew from a site in central North Korea to the waters off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Associated Press.
The statement also said that South Korean and US intelligence officials were analyzing the details of today's North Korean shootings.
