Tuesday, 14 September 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Health Minister announced that the vaccination of the Iranian school students will start within the next two weeks.
During his remarks on Tuesday, Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi announced that the vaccination of the Iranian school students will start within the next two weeks.
“Vaccination of people over 18 is underway,” he said while adding that in different parts of the country the process of vaccination is different.
“In big cities, it is usually for over 40-year-old people, and in some of our border areas is for 13-year-old and over,” Iranian health minister said.
He also pointed out the fact that “13 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are needed to vaccinate people under 18.”
Elsewhere in his remarks he said “While considering imports and domestically produced vaccines, Iranian people should not worry about being vaccinated,” while noting that “There are currently 5 domestically produced vaccines with excellent quality such as the Fakhra vaccine.”
Previously on Sunday a report showed that “Since the beginning of vaccination in Iran, the country records the highest weekly injection of COVID-19 vaccine after France and Germany.”
According to the report, Britain, Spain, Italy and Poland stood at the next ranks respectively.
Also earlier this month The Vice President for Research and Technology Affairs at the parent Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute and spokesman for the project Mohammad Hossein Fallah Mehrabadi announced that Iran has started the third phase of the human trial of its second domestic coronavirus vaccine, Razi Cov Pars.
