Tuesday, 14 September 2021 (YJC)_ Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Headquarters called for more efforts to develop advanced weapons in order to surprise enemies.
In a meeting with new Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid called for more efforts to develop advanced weapons in order to surprise enemies.
“In order to fulfill the orders of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces (Ayatollah Khamenei), and to develop defensive and offensive capabilities, especially in priority areas, and produce weapons with advanced technologies and surprising capabilities for battling enemies, you will take large and important steps,” General Ashtiani said.
He went on to express the hope that the level of interactions between the Army and IRGC would further enhance.
Earlier this month During his meeting with Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani, the IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh said his forces will expand cooperation with the Ministry of Defense to enhance the IRGC's missile power.
For his part, Ashtiani announced the Ministry of Defense is ready to interact and cooperate closely with the IRGC Aerospace Force and added “The vast industrial and production capacities in the Ministry of Defense will help to reach the defense and military needs of the Armed Forces, especially the IRGC Aerospace Force.
