Monday, 13 September 2021 (YJC)_ Russia's envoy to the Vienna talks called the remarks of the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman "encouraging" and said that it was time to return to the seventh round of talks to revive the nuclear deal.

Russian diplomat reacts to Khatibzadeh's remarks: Encouraging signals arrive from IranMikhail Ulyanov, Russia's envoy to Vienna-based international organizations, described the signals sent from Iran about the resumption of the Vienna talks as encouraging.

On Sunday morning, Ulyanov wrote on his Twitter page, referring to the speech of Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran:
This is an encouraging signal from Iran. The resumption of the Vienna talks has long been delayed.

He also explained the timing of the new round of talks in Vienna:
The interval between the sixth and seventh rounds of the Vienna talks (since June 20) has become very long. Now is the time to return to the negotiating table.
