An Iraqi security source reported two attacks by the ISIL terrorist group in the northern province of Diyala (adjacent to the Islamic Republic of Iran).
The source told Shafaq News Agency:
ISIL elements attacked one of the Iraqi army's first division headquarters around the Al-Azim area.
He stressed that during the attack by ISIL terrorists, an Iraqi army soldier named "Tariq Mazahm Mazban" was killed.
ISIL elements then attacked and occupied one of the Iraqi army's first division headquarters in the village of al-Tala'a, north of Diyala.
Three Iraqi army personnel were killed and one was wounded during the ISIL attack.
