According to published statistics, in the 54 countries of Africa with a population of 1.3 billion people, 200,254 people have lost their lives since the beginning of the corona epidemic in December 2019. Meanwhile, the number of corona victims in the world has reached more than 4 million 570 thousand people.
However, the World Health Organization has stated that the actual number could double or triple if all direct and indirect corona-related deaths were calculated.
