Wednesday, 8 September 2021 (YJC)_ The head of the Palestinian Authority, while making the formation of a national unity government conditional, stressed the readiness to hold elections.
According to the Palestinian news agency Sama, Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority, welcomed a delegation from civil society and human rights organizations in Ramallah on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Abbas stressed that we are partners in defending the rights of the Palestinian people against the occupiers and their plans to dissolve the Palestinian cause.
He stressed the importance of internal unity in the face of the challenges facing our people and their goals and the importance of strengthening the internal front.
Abbas also briefed the audience on the latest political and internal developments in Palestine.
