Amir-Abdollahian: Vaccine is Top Priority of Iranian Foreign Ministry

Tuesday, 7 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Minister announced that the priority of the ministry would be the provision of the coronavirus vaccine.

Amir-Abdollahian: Vaccine is Top Priority of Iranian Foreign MinistryDuring his remarks in the first meeting between the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced that the priority of the ministry would be the provision of the coronavirus vaccine.

The meeting was hosted by President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Gholamhossein Shafei, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the joint chambers of Commerce of Iran and neighboring countries, also attended this meeting.

During his speech, Iranian Foreign Minister said “The private sector owns a significant role in the relations between countries,” while noting that trade and economic circles are a contributing factor to the reliability of foreign policy and its strength.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he highlighted the fact that the provision of the coronavirus vaccine is one of the top priorities of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, explained the measures taken by the ministry in accelerating the supply of vaccines in recent days and announced “We welcome the cooperation of the private sectors in this field.”
