Tuesday, 7 September 2021 (YJC)_ Following reports from Yemeni sources about the arrival of British troops in al-Mahra province, a member of the Sanaa negotiating team said that Britain was spying on Yemeni telecommunications networks.
Abdul Malik al-Ajri, a member of the Sanaa negotiating team, announced on Monday evening that Britain was spying on Yemeni telecommunications networks.
"Britain is spying on Yemeni telecommunications networks and some submarine communication cables," a member of the Sanaa negotiating team wrote on his Twitter account.
Abdul Malik al-Ajri continued that this step started from the southern provinces of Yemen; Provinces that have become British bases in order to serve colonial purposes.
Al-Ajri called the move a clear violation of Yemeni sovereignty and the privacy of its citizens, and said that the move was carried out with the complicity of the resigned Yemeni government.
