Monday, 6 September 2021 (YJC)_ The British Minister of the Armed Forces announced that some of them had committed suicide last week following the unfortunate withdrawal of British troops from Afghanistan.
According to Reuters, the British Minister of the Armed Forces, James Hippie, stated today (Monday) in an interview with Sky News:
Some British soldiers returning from the war in Afghanistan have committed suicide because of their hasty departure from Afghanistan and the victory of the Taliban.
He said he was aware that some British soldiers who had been in the war in Afghanistan had committed suicide last week.
The British Minister of the Armed Forces, while expressing concern over such incidents, said:
Such a thing is disturbing and disturbing for people like me who are in the government and have been in Afghanistan. I know how much our soldiers have been injured.
