Sunday, 5 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Saudi Interior Minister arrived at Doha International Airport today after meeting in Baghdad yesterday to meet with senior Qatari officials.
Saudi Interior Minister Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, who visited Iraq yesterday, paid an official visit to Doha this morning (Sunday, September 5th) after meeting with Saudi officials.
According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, it is not yet clear how long the Saudi interior minister will visit Doha. He and his entourage were welcomed at Doha International Airport by Qatari Interior Minister Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani and a number of senior ministry officials.
The Saudi interior minister has traveled to Doha earlier this year to discuss improving relations between Riyadh and Doha following the agreement reached at the Al-Ala summit. The Saudi ambassador to Doha was also present at the welcoming ceremony of Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Nayef, Mansour bin Khal bin Abdullah Al-Farhan Al Saud.
