Sunday, 5 September 2021 (YJC)_ The Taliban's political deputy said the group was working to ensure security and improve the lives of the Afghan people, and that the new government would be inclusive.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Taliban's political deputy, said work was under way to form a comprehensive government. According to him, the government will be accountable to everyone.
In an interview with Al Jazeera television, Baradar told the Afghan people that the Taliban would work to improve people's lives.
He added that the Taliban would establish security because, he said, it was important for economic development and would pave the way for major economic projects.
Baradar did not say exactly when the new government would be announced.
