Iranian FM Spox: All Afghan groups should be RestraintIranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh urged all Afghan groups to be committed to principles of negotiations to avoid any violence.

“Holding intra-Afghan talks without the presence and intervention of foreigners is the way of establishing lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan,” Khatibzadeh said.

“Iran is in continuous contact with all Afghan groups,”he said while criticizing any foreign intervention in the neighboring Afghanistan.

He went on to say that “A government that reflects the country's demographic and ethnic structure is what people in Afghanistan deserve.”

Khatibzadeh previously had said that “The Afghan people should decide about their future and no country or group outside the country should interfere in this process.”

Also last week Iranian President Seyed Eberahim Raisi referred to the pas experience and said the US military deployment never leads stability in region.

He went on to call the thing which has happened in Afghanistan for at least the last two decades as a blatant violation of human rights and said “The number of women and children who have been killed ot injured in Afghanistan over the years, is the manifestation of a silent catastrophe has been happening on in the country.”
