Saturday, 4 September 2021 (YJC)_ The deputy head of the Taliban's political office in Qatar met with the Pakistani ambassador to Qatar.

Pakistani ambassador consults with senior Taliban officials in QatarShir Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, deputy head of the Taliban's political office in Doha, met with Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar Sayed Ahsan Reza Shah.

During the meeting, Abbas Stanekzai met with the Pakistani Ambassador in Doha, Afghanistan reconstruction, facilitating the movement of people from Torkham and Spin Boldak were discussed.

The two sides exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan, humanitarian aid, bilateral relations based on mutual interests and respect.

On the other hand, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a press conference that important trade goals could be achieved by connecting the China-Pakistan SIPAC economic corridor to Afghanistan.

He added:
We are working with China to improve the economic situation and development. China is our main partner.
