Saturday, 4 September 2021 (YJC)_ A spokesman for the Egyptian presidency announced the imminent start of the Gaza reconstruction process following a recent trilateral meeting in Cairo.
Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Razi said construction work on the Gaza Strip will begin in the coming days.
According to the Sama news agency, he added that the first phase, which was aimed at removing the effects of the destruction in the Gaza Strip, is nearing completion.
Razi added that efforts at the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian trilateral meeting in Cairo last Thursday focused on efforts to rebuild Gaza.
According to him, other topics of discussion at the meeting were the efforts to stabilize the ceasefire in Gaza and the widespread fire in Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as to stop all hostile and settlement-building measures.
